You may wish to recall the legendary Aesop’s fable about the Tortoise and the Hare at this point. In the race between them, the hare rushed off, getting into all manner of japes and scrapes, and, thinking himself assured of victory, was blas? to say the least. Meanwhile, the tortoise plodded on. And, of course, slow but steady won the race. So it is in life, apparently, as anyone who has done a long distance drive will tell you. Stopping for that ‘petrol and pee’ break seriously slows you down. Now, these Turbo Tortoises may change your view, or confirm it. For they’re scarcely about to challenge Lewis Hamilton in his supercharged McLaren Mercedes. But it’s their sheer dogged determination that appeals to us here in the lab at gadgetshop HQ. There’s something truly indomitable about their spirit. And we like it, whatever it is.

The best way to enjoy the antic of these half-shelled speed freaks is to do what comes naturally. Simply wind them up and let them go. Hilarious. With two, there’s double the trouble. They’re simply cute. And simply perfect for young gadgetshoppers.
